This PHP app will generate a Sculpt texture for Second Life's Sculpted Prims.
Enter x(red), y(green) co-ordinate values from 0 to 255 in the boxes below.
The values are extruded down the z-axis to create a solid.
If you choose Sphere mapping then points T (x,y,z) and B (x,y,z) will position the pinched ends of the sculpt.
If you choose cylinder, torus or plane then T and B x,y coordinates are ignored.
Use the invert option if your sculpt is inside-out (you can also do this in-world).
If you want the inside surface textured set the B z-coordinate to 255 and use torus mapping.
It is strongly recommended to keep to the default resolution and format. Uploading to Second Life in this format and choosing lossless compression when uploading will give the best results.
Texture resolution: 256 x 256 pixels
128 x 128 pixels
64 x 64 pixels (default)
Invert sculpt texture (flip horizontally)
Sphere (pinch the poles, stitched edges)
Cylinder (no pinching, stitched edges)
Torus (stitched poles, stitched edges)
Plane (no pinching, no stitching)
Only select one point at a time.
Preview low LOD.
